Can Òscar Rural
Can Òscar is a tourist accommodation renovated by ourselves: Josep (or "Gato"), a lifelong builder, and Martí, my eldest son. It's a project to which we've dedicated hours, patience, and a lot of enthusiasm in tribute to our youngest son, Òscar F.G.
We wanted to maintain charming details from the past while introducing present-day comforts. And above all, we wanted to create a space to share with family, friends, or the group of your choice!
The house is equipped to ensure you spend unforgettable days: swimming pool, barbecue, indoor and outdoor tables for sharing meals, hammock and outdoor swing, fireplace, billiards, table football...
We are committed to sustainable energy, through the use of solar panels and biomass.
We are located in Can Xombo, a small nucleus in the municipality of Mediona, within the Alt Penedès region. We enjoy a tranquil environment of nature, vineyards, and mountains ideal for disconnecting! And if you also enjoy wines and craft beer, this is definitely the place for you!
Can Òscar Rural accommodates two units in the same building, one for up to 7 people and the other for up to 8 people. Each with its own kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
The maximum capacity is 15 people.
The accommodations can be rented separately or together. In all cases, the rental will be exclusive, meaning no space will be shared with any other group.
Can Òscar Rural is an accommodation designed to be enjoyed in groups in a setting surrounded by nature and tranquility. Whether you come with family, friends, coworkers, or if you want to organize retreats or various activities, it's a space that will surely fit your needs!
If you feel like disconnecting and enjoying calmly, at Can Òscar you can organize your barbecue, sunbathe in the garden with pool, play some billiards or table football, read a book in front of the fireplace, and much more.
If you feel like doing something active and exploring the area, we also have proposals for you:
- Josep, the owner, can prepare a fantastic barbecue for you and your group.
- You can enjoy a delicious wine or craft beer tasting from local producers.
- Discover the history of the area through the nearest Castles: Castell de Mediona and Vilademàjer.
- Various walking or cycling routes.
- Visit to the wineries in the area and the nearest craft breweries (we have two!).
- Relax with a yoga class in Can Òscar's garden.
