Can Marlès Wine Cellar and rural wine tourism

Our winery is deeply anchored in our passion for the environment of the valley of El Montmell, home to our vinyards and our facilities. Even though we use high end equipment, Can Marlès remains a winery that produces wine in an artisan fashion on a small scale from homegrown grapes. It is one of the few wineries of the Penedès region with a seal of Vinya Celler Masia, an organisation that comprises authentic wines of small high quality wineries. With our philosophy of producing organic wines in a slow process, without haste relying on single-variety grapes, we have achieved an outstanding status in some of the most distinguished sybarite restaurants. They are known to be wines with their own soul.

Within the 300 ha that make up Can Marlès, there are various old farmhouses full of history that you can visit, some of which are ruines and some of which are renovated to host visitors for high-level rural ecotourism within vineyards and forests. Our estate is home to a flock of 14 alpacas and three goats living in perfect harmony, 8 of our alpacas were born in the Montmell, fully naturalised „Penedesencas", and visitng them is almost mandatory in Can Marlès.
