Xató is one of the specialties of the winter season, a tratidional salad with cod fish and romesco gravy that you can find in most restaurant menus. Depending on the Penedès area, the recipe for the xató sauce is slightly different, so you have the perfect excuse to taste the different types... one every weekend!

You have many budget options. You can book a table in one of the restaurants of the Penedès Wine Route that offer a calçots menu. Calçots, romesco sauce, artichokes, a good Penedès wine... you don't need much else, it is just the simple things that make us happy!
