Wine and cellars of the medieval city
Museum opening hours
The vineyards and the wine are inseparable from the landscape and the Penedesense character, and the medieval city of Olèrdola is located in the heart of this territory. And in the middle of this historic landscape, the viticulture of a thousand years ago has played a primary role through the witnesses of the medieval Olèrdola. The archaeological and historical research that has been carried out in recent years, allows the production of wine to be documented, thanks to the structures that are linked to it: the cellars and the presses.
The route we propose takes us on a journey through time towards the historical role of the vineyard and wine, in the Penedès.
Preu de la visita comentada: 46€/grups de 20 persones. Més de 20 pax, 2,30 € per persona extra.
