In this immersive experience, participants will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the characteristics that define a high-quality extra virgin olive oil and learn how to distinguish it from other olive oils. We will begin by exploring the key elements that make an olive oil exceptional: its taste, aroma, and texture.
We will then dive into a special sensory session where we will smell and identify the different defects that olive oil can have.
After identifying the defects, we will conduct an olive oil tasting, putting into practice what we’ve learned and discovering the virtues that define a high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
All of this takes place in a very special setting.

What does the activity include

-Visit to the mill and a brief explanation of the olive oil production process.
-Walk through the gardens of the modernist estate where the mill is located.
-Sensory experience to learn about the aromatic qualities, both good and bad, that olive oil can have.
-Olive oil tasting.
-Tasting of products that pair well with our D'Oliciós olive oil.
